I’ll be speaking to the Renaissance Group, discussing mystery novels whose settings range from New Jersey’s Pine Barrens and Chesapeake Bay region to the state’s cities, suburbs, and small towns. I’ll discuss the work of authors such as Janet Evanovich, Harlan Coben, Robin Hathaway, Chris Grabenstein, and Richard Price.

Malice Domestic Mystery Conference–April 27-29, 2018

Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, Bethesda MD

“Tough Gals: The Female Sleuth in Mystery Fiction”–May 1, 2018–6:30 p.m.

Roxbury Public Library, Succasunna NJ

As women’s role in society evolved from housewife to corporate CEO, the image of women sleuths–cops and PIs–in mystery fiction changed as well. Join me for a look at how far women have come in the modern mystery novel.

Deadly Ink Mystery Conference–August 10-12, 2018

Renaissance Hotel, Iselin/Woodbridge NJ

New Jersey’s own mystery conference! I look forward every year to this chance to catch up with my local mystery-writing friends.
